We are here, on your path to the lifestyle you want. Balancing Breath specializes in yoga and mindfulness practices that benefit your everyday life. We offer classes that help you learn to be present in your movement, meditation, and breath. We are a community of continued learning and support, as we are all practicing to keep balance in our lives, one breath at a time.

Vision Statement

We invite you to be here with us. We specialize in yoga and mindfulness practices that keep you present in the moment and thriving in your everyday life. Whether you are looking to enrich your current practice—of yoga, meditation, or breath work—or want to try something new, we welcome you. Our certified teachers are guides on your personal journey. Our studio is a welcoming space that we tailor to the calm, energizing, or community vibe you need.

We offer classes to support doing the work—physical poses, meditation, and breath training. We also offer circles (community conversations) to support your why—learning, self-inquiry and discussion. Both practices and circles aim to show you how being present in our studio is relatable, practical, and actionable in your everyday life. What you practice on your mat, chair or cushion can transform the way you live and experience life. Breathe, focus, balance.

Mindfulness is a discipline of self-awareness. Mind-body practices that include mindfulness are proven to benefit physical and mental well-being. Being aware, present and focused in your practice is a skill that grows over time to suit your needs. For example, learning to use breath to enrich your movement and enhance your relaxation is transformative. Breath becomes the pause—between emotion and logic, between reacting and responding, between effort and ease. Breath can energize you, calm you, and ground you.

Whichever practices you choose—active or restorative—we focus on your interests, abilities and curiosities. You have an open invitation to practice and learn with us, and to be exactly who you are.

  • BE PRESENT: Our studio is your space to focus solely on you. Whether you set an intention or goal, or simply want to disconnect from everything else, come to focus on you and now.

  • BE CURIOUS: Whatever your level of practice there is always room to grow. The goal is never perfection. Our classes and teachers invite you to explore—new postures, deeper focus, adaptations, extensions, different perspectives—whatever you need.

  • YES, AND: We build confidence in our practices. We will help you follow your path and flow in new directions, whether your goal is strength, mobility, clarity, calm, consistency, or community.

  • BALANCE: It is challenging to accept “all the things” in our lives and find some balance. We are all pulled in different directions. Our studio offers you a place to practice finding the sweet spot between “not enough” and “too much.”

  • LEAN IN: Be aware of the strength and possibility in silence … within yourself. Life can be chaos and we may get comfortable in that constant grind. Our studio is where you can lean inward, give in to now, and just be.
